If you’re wanting a monitoring tool that offers more interaction with your account, Crowdbooster might be a great way to go.

Crowdbooster’s free plan includes one Twitter and one Facebook account, as well as an option to connect your bit.ly account. You can view the number of replies, retweets and impressions for each of your posts and compare them on a chart. You also have the ability to monitor follower growth for your accounts.

Buffer is mainly a social posting scheduler for Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram. Scheduling posts can be so handy for when you’re out and about, keeping the buzz surrounding your event and engaging attendees. Buffer is free, and it lets you see engagement statistics so you know what’s working.

A free Buffer account will let you add one of each social profile and measures replies, retweets, impressions and favourites for each post you send through the app.

Tweetstats

Tweetstats is great for event managers wanting to view stats around Twitter. This free service doesn’t require an account, or even authorisation. Simply type in your twitter handle and get started.

Stats will be displayed on colourful charts and you will be shown the number of tweets you’ve sent, who’s engaged with you the most and your peak posting times. You can also see your following/follower count and your most used hashtags.
