How symphony works
The Symphony team are pleased to announce a new working relationship with the University of Oxford. The University is holding an Alumni Weekend in September called Meeting Minds, open to all past Oxford graduates.
They needed an online system in place which could easily cope with the complexity of an event that has over 100 separate bookable activities and a requirement for online payment. With a deadline of just two weeks the university needed a product that could handle both the intricacy of the event and also be easy and intuitive for staff members to learn and use.
At Symphony we were happy to get involved. We knew that Symphony had the power and stability to make light work of this event and we weren't worried by the short time-scales involved. The event itself takes place over three days and the programme showcases the depth and diversity of the University's achievements from literature to sport, science to law, and also includes concerts and architectural tours.
Symphony will be providing the alumni with an easy to use online form, the ability to pay online and to book guests for the event. For the event managers at the University Symphony will be providing up to the minute reporting, 24/7 access and automated confirmation emails and agendas for delegates to keep and print.
Around 2500 people are expected, but with Symphony now in place, everyone is looking forward to a fantastic, stress free Alumni weekend.
