The Regional International Business Convention

Symphony Event Management Software is proud to be the event software of choice for the organisers of the Regional Yorkshire International Business Convention event in June 2008. The convention forms part of a series of events organised under The Regional International Business Convention, or RIBC.

The convention, a large-scale event that celebrates the success of Yorkshire based businesses, provided an exceptional array of speakers and guests that entertained and inspired all that attended.

The day started with an informal breakfast before the main programme of events began. The programme consisted of a series of inspirational speeches from certain hand picked, key, high profile figures. This year saw star turns from the likes of supermodel turned entrepreneur, Elle Macpherson, the 25th Prime Minister of Australia, John Howard, undoubtedly Britain's sharpest impressionist, Rory Bremner and the hilarious and dynamic two time heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman. Attendees were also treated to a gourmet lunch and had the opportunity to dine at the world famous Harewood House in the evening.

The event was run over two locations on the same day, in Harrogate and Hull. RIBC needed online booking forms for both venues as well as the integration of credit card payment facilities and the collection of delegate profile information. What was also vitally important was the ability to report on and manage the collected data.
