Symphony Event Management Software is at the forefront of providing online services to the conference and events industry. We are currently seeking to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and efficient individual to help manage our varied client base.

To provide the service our customers have come to expect, experience of a customer service environment is essential, as is an easy-going and friendly telephone manner. In addition candidates must be extremely well organised and have a high level of IT skills. You will be expected to support the Account Manager in managing our larger clients and you will also be required to take on some of the smaller accounts and manage these yourself. Willingness to accept responsibility and the ability to prioritise and organise your own work is therefore essential.

In addition to helping manage our clients you will also be expected to be involved in the marketing of our product and to field calls from potential clients. We will also be expecting you to actively promote and sell the Symphony product to potential clients, so previous experience of making outgoing sales calls would be beneficial.

While experience of the events industry is not essential, it would be considered beneficial.

Essential

  • educated to at least A-level standard
  • at least 6-12 months experience in a customer service/management environment
  • confident and friendly telephone manner
  • willingness to accept responsibility
  • ability to prioritise and organise own workload and use initiative
  • proven ability to multi-task
  • High level of IT skills using Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • educated to degree standard
  • experience of conference & events industry
  • previous experience as a project manager/assistant
  • over one years experience in customer service/management environment
  • experience of making sales focused outgoing telephone calls
