The Church of England Lambeth Conference
Background:
The Lambeth Conference is convened once every ten years by the Archbishop of Canterbury and sees the
greatest gathering of Anglican Bishops and their spouses anywhere in the world. The Lambeth
Conference will take place in July 2008 at the University of Kent, Canterbury, with delegates
making the journey from all corners of the globe to take part. The event will attract over 1500
people: bishops and their spouses, translators, youth stewards and more.
The conference will be split into two separate events, one for the Bishops and one for their spouses.
There are a myriad of workshops, sessions, speeches and social activities schedules which take part over the 20 days of the event.
Event Requirements:
- Allow delegates to register for the conference online and provide relative travel and requirements information.
- If required allow delegates to pay for their conference registration online including payment of deposit and full balance.
- Stagger registration into three separate stages with a unique code allowing delegates to update their own booking at their convenience.
