So I arrived at Symphony almost a week ago and as tradition dictates it is now time for me to introduce myself here on the blog. My name is Rob Gregory, the latest addition to the Symphony product team. As Project Manager and Lead Developer I am really excited about joining Symphony and contributing to the ongoing success of our award winning event management software.
With a background in software development I have worked in the UK and Australia across a number of industries from publishing to manufacturing. When it comes to delivering Software as a service my passion lies in creating easy to use solutions that allow users to increase their productivity in the most seamless of ways.
The first time I saw Symphony in action I was immediately impressed by how easy it was to use. Symphony's intuitive design coupled with it's long list of features and benefits had me hooked from that first demonstation. Without wanting to sound like a geek, Symphony is my kind of software!
Outside of event management software and talking to customers about how we can make managing their events easier I love all things outdoors. As an Explorer Scout Leader I spend a lot of my spare time herding a large group of 14-18 year olds around the Peak District. I love my bikes more than Nutella (just) and sometimes even ride the 13 miles into the office. I have to get up early though to avoid the "walk of lycra shame" through the office ;-)
Since the all new version of Symphony was launched in July 2010 we have been listening and responding to our customers’ needs. Armed with this information it's now time for us to commence the latest programme of Symphony upgrades - Over the coming weeks we will be producing a simple questionnaire to help us further understand exactly what new features you want. Be sure to respond as your feedback helps us shape the future of Symphony.
If you have any questions, suggestions or just want to find out more about how Symphony can help your organisation please give us a call 0114 2794990.
