The Symphony event management software team go the extra mile for every event!

chatsworth challenge The next in the series of fitness challenges taken up by the Symphony event management software team this year was a 25 mile walk for Crohn’s disease charity Smilie’s network at the beautiful Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. These things always seem like a good idea at the time!

Symphony event management software Head of Technical Development, Craig Pickles, and Junior developer Richard Pursehouse and I took part in the event this month; none of us having any real experience in long distance walking! The day started well but after about the 17 mile mark it soon became apparent that the name of the event “The Chatsworth Challenge” was very apt!

The walk was a huge challenge but all team members managed to complete the course in just under 11 hours (and one large packet of pain killers!) so a big congratulations to all participants.
